Many media outlets led me to believe that Polestar was going to be fully EV. Its actually going to be an “electrified” brand, meaning everything from a hybrid to full EV.
Polestar is slowly releasing a full image of their first vehicle and in today’s release you can see an exhaust outlet. Full reveal is on 10/17.

It could be a thermal vent for battery pack cooling.
